Note: Jan Hulsker doesn't include the reverse of this sketch (shown above right) in his catalogue raisonné, but De la Faile does and gives it the catalogue number F 1512v and the name Sketches of Plowing Horses. The De la Faille catalogue raisonné comments:
Though the sketches of horses are done quickly and in a loose way, the horse at the top is recognizable as the outline of the horse of the picture 625 dated Saint Rémy early September.
